Privacy Notice

Your email address and password (stored encrypted, never visible to us), an optional display name, the subjects you choose, the files you upload and their details, your mock papers, the answers you submit for marking (including photos and PDFs) and their marks, your AI tutor chats, your JUPAS grades and choices, your plan and payment status, and basic technical logs needed to keep the site secure.

To run your account and its features, save your work so you can see it later, apply usage limits, and run copyright protection and moderation. We do not sell your data or use it for personalised advertising.

When you use the AI tutor, generate a mock paper or mark your answers, the text, photos or PDFs you send are passed through our server to OpenRouter, which forwards them to the AI model that produces the reply. They are processed to answer your request, not published.

The first pages of each resource upload are checked by an AI model (Meta's Llama, run on Cloudflare Workers AI) to suggest the document's details and confirm it is not an official exam paper.

Other students see your uploads' previews and details, and your display name only if you choose not to post anonymously. Your email, chats, mock papers, answers and marks are never shown to other users.

Account data, saved work and answer photos are stored with Supabase, and uploaded resources with Cloudflare. Our servers run on Cloudflare and Render. AI requests are processed by OpenRouter and the AI model providers it uses. These services may be outside Hong Kong. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Your JUPAS grades and choices, and some settings, are also kept in your browser's local storage so they load quickly. Clearing your browser data removes them from that device.

You can ask to see or correct your data, or delete your account and everything linked to it, by emailing hello@swap-sheet.com. You can delete individual AI tutor chats yourself at any time.
